“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
We believe that God is at work in renewing all of creation spiritually, socially and culturally, and that He uses His people to accomplish that. This mission is comprehensive, embracing the wise and effective use of our world’s resources, unconditionally serving our community in all circumstances we are able to, being the best neighbors anyone could ask for, and otherwise demonstrating to the world world what it means to be part of the “broken-but-beloved” people of God.
While we strive to truly “practice what we preach” we are far from perfect. Where God’s mission is utterly complete and comprehensive, ours is built around those areas where we are able to serve Him and our fellow man most effectively, specifically on the local, regional and international scale (Acts 1:8), with a strong emphasis on planting new churches and supporting ministries that meet the tangible needs of those suffering and hurting. It is our hope and prayer that RMPC communicates the transforming grace of God in both word and deed through the following ministries:
Hope House – Support and mentoring for teen moms
Broomfield Skilled Nursing Home – Weekly services and visitation
Denver Rescue Ministry – Family and Senior Homeless Initiative
Broomfield Prison Ministry – Services and mentoring
The Western Church Planting Network – Starting new churches in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and beyond.
Great Plains Gathering – Native American Church Plant led by Josh Charette (Billings, MT)
MTW Missionaries Rick and Sharon Mooney (Mexico)
