OUTREACH
OUTREACH
RMPC seeks to be a great commission sending station. As a kingdom outpost in a secular world, we equip the saints for the work of ministry, and send them out to our city and the nations. We accomplish this by equipping believers for evangelism, by supporting church plants, and by developing strategic local and global partnerships.
SCATTERED AND GATHERED
Our local outreach strategy is summarized with the words scattered and gathered: God sends us out, so that we can bring people in. As the church scattered, Christ sends us out to participate in his mission in everyday life. We act as his ambassadors in the places where we live, work, and play. Then we continue our outreach by coming together as the church gathered - with worship, preaching and fellowship that are designed for the churched and the unchurched alike.
EXPRESS YOUR FAITH
Express Your Faith is an evangelism training method, which equips believers to share the gospel in word and deed, in the places where they live, work, and play. Express Your Faith helps Christians learn how to:
Because we believe that evangelism is a crucial component in the life of all Christians, we offer this training in three ways: as part of the Journey Groups, as Adult Discipleship Classes, and as weekend seminars.
MERCY MINISTRY
At Rocky Mountain Presbyterian, our mission is to love our neighbors in need by walking with them as they journey from material poverty to human flourishing.
We believe all human beings are created in the image of God and possess gifts, resources and abilities that God calls them to steward. Our Mercy Ministry is relational rather than simply transactional; therefore, we will walk with our neighbors in need toward restoration and flourishing, learning from one another along the journey. We will get to know our neighbors in material need and walk alongside them as they develop a plan to build on their abilities and assets toward financial sustainability and to meet their goals toward restoration. While this may involve financial assistance, assistance will be in concert with the plan developed by and tailored to each individual or family experiencing material need, with the exception of certain circumstances.
If you are experiencing material need and would like to speak with a Deacon at Rocky Mountain Presbyterian Church about the Mercy Ministry and how we may help you, please call us at 303-404-3200. For more information or to view the policy and mission/vision of the RMPC Mercy Ministry, please see the attached Mission/Vision document and Mercy Ministry Policy.

DENVER RESCUE MISSION
It's important that we seek to be faithful ambassadors for Christ, not only by planting churches, but also by being a light of the gospel in the community where we live. So we've developed a strategic relationship with a local organization called Denver Rescue Mission. By working with Denver Rescue Mission, we're able to share the gospel through our words and deeds with those who are in need. If you'd like to learn more about Denver Rescue Mission, click here.
If you'd like an in-depth look at some of their programs that help people build new lives in Christ, check out this video.
WESTERN CHURCH PLANTING NETWORK
The Western Church Planting Network (WCPN) is a network of churches in the Rocky Mountain Presbytery dedicated to planting PCA churches throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. We recruit, train and deploy church planters, and provide them with coaching, funding, and a supportive community.
CENTRO PARA LA PLANTACION DE IGLESIAS (CPI)
CPI is a church planting pipeline, which recruits, trains, and deploys church planters throughout Mexico. Their mission is to lead a church planting movement throughout Mexico, in order to spread the gospel and transform the country one city at a time. Their headquarters are in Monterrey, Mexico, where a team of pastors, former church planters, and missionaries work together to lead and grow this ministry.
We partner with CPI through our denomination's mission agency, Mission to the World. To learn more about CPI, click here.
